Backbiting and Slander

Sometimes, we don't know the answer to things. Sometimes, we don;t understand the logic and reasoning behind rules, laws, things are parents say.

But they're so often right and we find the morals behind then much later in life when we have grown wiser and more capable of comprehending them.

Backbiting and slander is most definately haram.
It hurts the other person and can have a bad influence on the recipient's image on that person.
This site exquisitely explains the reasons upon why slander is SO bad. It really opened my eyes!

Brooding..

So with exams over, theres so much sweet time to just brood. Ponder. Contemplate. Be idle!

And, so amicable friends, this made me ponder. 

In addition to this spectacularly humbling question (above), I was comfortably reading a psychology blog while I was meant to be studying, where another question was posed. I cant remember what the post was about but the question became stuck in my mind:

"What would you do, if you could do anything and noone would get hurt?"

It honestly took me days just to think.

Even then my answers were feeble and indirect.

SO, what would you do?

P.s. There has also been research conducted which proves that men have fewer problems in devising an answer to this question than women! Interessstingg..

After HSC was over

After the end of my final exams, I thought everything would be so great. 

I thought I'd feel like a huge weight had been lifted off the crooks in my shoulders.

I thought I'd be euphoric, bursting with uncontrollable happiness.

I thought I'd be free.

So, then why did it feel like nothing?

Like I hadn't really accomplished anything at all.

An unsatisfied emptiness devouring me, piece by piece.

Halloween last Monday O.o

I'm not an avid celebrater of Halloween. In fact, I find it pretty rare around here and when I see it, I can't help but stare. In spite of all that, this was the cutest costume ever!
